Food Donations

March is MN Foodshare Month!  It is a time when nearly every food shelf in the state makes an all-out effort to raise as much food and money as possible as the financial support we will receive from Hunger Solutions later in the year will be determined in a large part by the amount of food and funds we raise in March. We need your help!!

Food donations can be dropped off any time St. Paul's Lutheran Church is open.

Food and personal item donations are date checked and then placed on the shelves for distribution.

There is a drop box located at Cub Foods in St. Michael and Coborns in Albertville.  Any donations,  including the prepackaged bags assembled by the store are welcomed and picked up by Food Shelf volunteers.

Clothing Donations

The Clothing Closet is always in need of clothes for all ages and sizes, especially baby and children's clothing. We also graciously accept sheet sets and towels.

We ask that you donate clothing items and shoes that are still in good, usable condition and that clothing items have been washed before being donated.

We can not accept appliances, electronics or furniture.

Baby furniture may be accepted but please call prior to dropping off.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations are always appreciated, and are used to cover the gap between item donations and the supplies needed to support the community.

We appreciate donations of any amount.

Please send your donation to:

Time Donations

Volunteers are key to the food shelf’s success!

There are over 40 volunteers each week that share their time to keep the food shelf open.  Our volunteers check families in, distribute food, stock shelves, pick up donations and clean to care for our space.

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes.  Some of our volunteers have been with us for more than 20 years!  We couldn’t do it without all of the people that commit their time weekly.
